The next chapter of ground warfare is coming. From 16 September to 2 October, Operation Nemesis opens the gates for new warclones to enter the multiplayer sci-fi sandbox shooter EVE Vanguard. Along with the biggest update yet, this free event provides a unique chance to play the game while it is still in early development, helping shape it before early access launch in summer 2026.

Until now, new warclones were simply dropped into the fight without direction. Operation Nemesis introduces a true New Player Journey. Learn the basics in a safe space, build confidence, and master the skills you need to become a battle-ready Vanguard.
EXPEDITIONS AWAIT
Expeditions transform deployments into epic journeys with purpose beyond survival. Take on contracts from New Eden’s factions, earn powerful rewards like weapon blueprints, and uncover secrets along the way. With multi-session challenges, long-term progression, and rewards that shape your playstyle, every mission is a step toward something bigger. The completion of expeditions in EVE Vanguard will reveal convoys in EVE Online, creating opportunities for capsuleers to attack, loot, and profit, deepening the connection between the two games.
FIREPOWER EVOLVES
The weapons system gets a dramatic overhaul, bringing massively increased firepower, three powerful new weapons, and the ability to forge your arsenal from blueprints. Unleash close-range devastation with the new Backlash Shotgun, the Prismatic Fire with the Volter Heavy Pistol, or surgical strikes with the Lancer Marksman Rifle. Adapt, experiment, and master these tools of destruction, or fall to someone who does.
FIGHT NEW ENEMIES
Mordu’s Legion is preparing to enter the battlefield. Ruthless and disciplined, they wield the firepower and strategic prowess to dominate any fight. Well-armed and organized, battling with escalating force depending on rank, and using advanced squad tactics, the Legion troops are not to be trifled with. Learn their tactics or be crushed by them.
9v9 BATTLES IN THE BASIN
The fight gets even more brutal in a new dedicated PvP insurgency map called the Sulphur Basin. Here, warclones clash in 9v9 battles to gain control over massive Upwell cannons. Secure the guns, break the enemy fleet above, and force their retreat.
