Game Vision
SCI-FI MMOFPS
A game players return to for years, evolving through new content, systems, and conflicts instead of sequels. Like EVE Online, Vanguard delivers an authentic New Eden experience from the perspective of an immortal warclone.
At its core is a rich PvPvE FPS, combining satisfying combat with the depth of EVE's factions, economy, and lore. Players choose how they survive and thrive - fighting on the front line, supporting allies through logistics and technology, or gathering resources and manufacturing equipment that powers the wider war effort.
Every deployment contributes to long-term progression, while a unique connection between Warclones and Capsuleers allows both communities to shape the same living universe through shared campaigns, economies, and world-changing consequences.
The goal is survival, and then to accumulate power and influence in New Eden, by deploying down to planets, completing objectives, extracting with valuable items, fighting NPC soldiers and drones.
ADAPT. OR. DIE

PERSONAL GOALS
Survival, and then to accumulate power and influence in New Eden, by deploying down to planets, completing objectives, extracting with valuable items, fighting NPC soldiers and drones.
It is to find and hunt Nemesis Engines, created by the authorities of New Eden. Find clues, unlock mysteries and fight Wrathful Nemesis Engines, with gun and blade. Collect Warclone Constructs and Nemesis technology and take the fight to them.
The Hunter becomes the Hunted

COLLECTIVE GOALS
To build Avalon and more Bastions, and collectively unlock the mysteries of the Nemesis Engines, learn their secrets and use them against the oppressive forces of Mordu's Legion and the elusive SARO.
Persist, Protect, Preserve

ABSOLUTE FREEDOM
Collecting and upgrading blueprints is the primary progression, for weapons, dropsuits and eventually personal drones, to be customized by the player.
I have no master
There is built-in variability of NPCs, Loot and Containers, Hazards as well as objective locations and contracts objectives, as well as Activities such as Mining Rights and more. The looming threat of PVP is ever present, once the player ventures out of the safety of high security.
Brace for Impact

COMBAT MASTERY
Swapping between ammo types, using deployables to your advantage, and crafting useful gear during deployment is imperative to success. Combining efforts with other players filling a variety of roles: recon, support, and logistics in complementary gear is the way to succeed. Everyone has a different role to play.

SESSION ABILITIES
The Dropsuit, the Graft and the Warclone also need to be manufactured from a blueprint.
These blueprints are represented with player abilities and a deployment-contained resource to adapt to situations that arise.

SESSION RESOURCES
Biomass, used for healing yourself and others
Energy, used to activate modules on your dropsuit and power alternative modes
Nanites, used to manufacture items and ammo
Nexus Chips, used to purchase off-map support or Requisitions such as Reclones, RDV Pickup and Orbital Strikes
Fight battles that actually matter. Every mission you take part in ties into a living sci-fi universe - whether you're raiding convoys, disrupting supply lines, or feeding the frontlines of a galactic war. Your actions ripple outward, fueling the conflict that defines EVE Online - but you don't need to play EVE to feel the impact. The fantasy of combined arms, where pilots and infantry work together on shared goals across planets and space.
One Universe // One War

THEATRES OF WAR
The fantasy of combined arms, where pilots and infantry work together on shared goals. The first integration will be done with Factional Military Campaigns, where players in both games choose a faction, and fight for it, change world states, earning rewards and standings with their chosen faction.
This feature is planned for November 2026.
Together we win

CONTRABAND
Vanguard players will loot and extract with valuable contraband, lost in epic spaceship battles and getting pulled to planet surface by gravity. Capsuleers, hunting for ultra-rare items lost in recent battles, will barter mutaplasmids for the chance of recovery, allowing competitive Vanguard players to risk their weapons for a chance of powerful upgrades beyond the tech tree.
This feature is planned for 2027.

TRUE MERCENARY
The fantasy of being a true mercenary, who is known by other players, and even beyond the game, as heroes or villains. This will be accomplished by using the Fenris technology known as Quasar, and the Freelancing feature in EVE Online, where players can create missions for other players.
This feature is planned for 2028.
