Patch Notes Summary: Improvements and Bug Fixes from March 30 to Present

Following our recent VIP sessions we have made the following changes.

Combat & AI

NPC Behaviour & Combat

  • Fixed NPCs getting stuck in combat circles (4-second timeout added)

  • Fixed NPCs being unresponsive (aggression/combat state mismatch resolved)

  • Improved NPC shooting responsiveness by fixing ALS combat state transitions

  • RDV NPCs now investigate and move around when they have no targets after drop-off

Turrets & Drones

  • Turrets now properly raise POI alert level when in combat

  • Fixed Guardian Drone laser angles

  • Scanner & Attack drone positioning and patrol movement fixes

  • Increased engagement distance for turrets

  • Increased pause between turret firing

  • Increased visibility for turret red cone of detection

  • Made turret scan cone more visible in alert state

  • Changed attack drone to use cone beam instead of thin "pencil" beam

  • Enabled hit markers on turrets and drones

Activities & Reinforcements

  • Fixed missing insertion pods spawning issue

  • Added reinforcements when breaching the Compound front gate

  • Added Marksman NPC to watchtower with sniper glint

Ammo & Inventory

Ammo Changes

  • Increased ammo given on deployment start

  • Increased ammo quantity dropped by Mordus Legion enemies and turrets

  • Added ammo drops to Guardian Drones

  • Increased kinetic ammo max stack size

  • Compressed starting ammo into 1 stack (same total quantity)

Inventory & Items

  • Ensured players don't lose crafter blueprints on failed extraction

  • Fixed crafter inventory replenishing on respawn

  • Fixed loot theme labeling consistency

  • Added additional inventory space

  • Increased corpse cleanup time from 120s to 240s

UI & HUD

HUD Fixes

  • Fixed HUD appearing during insertion pod sequence

  • Fixed HUD disappearing after opening map multiple times

  • Fixed combat direction widget missing

  • Removed Credits & Banking widget from HUD

  • Fixed deployables prompt not working

  • HUD desaturation of health/shield/clone widget

Map & UI Improvements

  • Fixed 2D map icon and text scaling issue (temporary fix)

  • Fixed map texture loading and panning cursor issue

  • Added gradient backer to map marker text for better readability

  • Increase range for which the in world beam disappears

  • Added cooldown timer to extraction zone interaction prompt

  • Added color to the difficulty strings on the POI banner and POI Tooltip

Audio

  • Fixed death 2D audio

  • Fixed hitmarker SFX and mix adjustments

  • Added low health SFX

  • Removed gargling audio on insertion (multiple fixes)

  • Fixed cancel equipment abilities audio on death

  • Added 2D SFX events for Drones and Turrets death

  • Fixed low health audio persisting to frontend

Weapons & Combat

  • Removed big frame animation for Reaver reload

  • Created Reaver blueprint icons for Market

  • Disabled SMG overheating material effect (placeholder version used)

  • Fixed recoil becoming stronger on reclone

Visual & Environment

Lighting & Materials

  • Upwell Set desaturation pass

  • Fixed Starfield texture visibility issue

  • Updated exterior lighting for treatment facility

  • Fixed insertion VFX decal resolution

  • Fixed light fixtures not changing colour during state changes

Environment & Terrain

  • Environment skirting improvements on cliffs

  • Landscape refinements between treatment facility and Command POI

  • Cliff base dressing and AO adjustments

  • Material improvements on scatter rocks

  • Fixed floating assemblies

  • OOB terrain changes south (east) of Lost Convoy map

  • Fixed landscape and missing collision in cliff formations

  • Updated concrete walkway/stairs/railings kit

Level Design

  • Moved Treatment Facility Power Cores to new positions

  • Updated Military Barracks alignment with walls

  • Fixed Command Base stairs traversal

  • Multiple collision fixes for stuck spots

  • Fixed destroy activity power locks animation

Performance & Technical

  • Shadow Cache Invalidation asset updates

  • Removed distance field generation from microrubble meshes

  • Enabled first-person self shadowing on High/Ultra profiles

  • Fixed screen desaturation when low health vignette appears

  • Turned off receive decals on weapon components (fixed insertion heat effect)

  • Fixed texture performance issues

  • Fixed async loading map textures

  • Disabled FSR3 Reactive Mask to prevent crashes when switching from Low graphics

Bug Fixes & Stability

  • Fixed player status view model crash

  • Fixed crash when dropping items with stale loadout reference

  • Fixed unity build compilation issue

  • Fixed users becoming immortal bug

  • Fixed underground spawning with missing HUD on rejoin

  • Navigation fixes for extraction map

  • Use class names for objectives and activity analytics (more consistent data)
